About Me

Chris Paige

Producer, Director and Film Photographer

I like to think of myself as a documentarian with the heart of a poet. Since audiences today are smarter than ever, I love to experiment visually and push the art form whenever the story allows for it.

Total objectivity is nigh impossible, but I hope that my open-mindedness and empathy with my interviewees and subjects shines through in my work above anything else. I don’t shy away from any subject: I’ve made films with centenarians, people experiencing homelessness, Alzheimer’s sufferers and in hospice care. Any story with a strong emotional core interests me no matter how heavy.

The road to film has been circuitous for me. After cutting my teeth in television as a production assistant, assistant editor, production coordinator and associate producer, I settled in producing and directing digital short-form documentaries. But I think my diverse background had made me a strong producer that can handle making fascinating stories anywhere from 30 seconds to feature length.

Filmmaking is my passion, but my proudest title in this world is Uncle Tis (thanks to my wonderful nieces)!
