This video, shot with the fantastic Caroline and Mauro Mujica-Parodi on July 16th, 2011, was my first chance to shoot a wedding video in Charm City. This video is a stark contrast to my other, rustic weddings as the historic St. Alphonsus Cathedral and famous Belvedere Hotel allowed for a metropolitan and art deco style that plantations don’t offer.
Caroline’s aunt hired me as a gift to the newlyweds just a few weeks before the wedding, but my team and I were able to accommodate her needs on short notice.
This was shot with two Canon T2is with a variety of lenses (Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8, Canon 50mm f/1.8, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, Zenitar 35mm f/2.0). It was edited in Premiere Pro and graded with Magic Bullet Looks, but left nearly untouched because the natural lighting in all of the locations was to beautiful chang. The timelapses were done with a GoPro set at 5 second intervals.
